Bought this scope for indoor target shooting. Good for .22 cal. at 50 yards but not quite adequate for 100 yards. This scope is excellent for the price. Works as good as some much more expensive scopes I have used. The tripod works good and is steady for tabletop use. Only drawback, common to a lot of scopes is focus gets a little fuzzy at full zoom. Slightly backing off on the zoom gets rid of the problem. Gets good light for the lens size.
