These candles offer a very realistic flicker, are nice looking visually, and they feel real as well, being made mostly of wax (or something wax like). Out of the box they have a strong vanilla scent, which thankfully has dissipated in the 2.5 months since I've had them. The switch on the bottom seems to be of descent quality, and battery life has been good so far. It's nice to not have to worry about an open flame or dripping wax.

The candles look like regular candles, they are scented and made of real wax.
They flicker like regular candles also, however, I thought that they come with the wreath around them but they didn't.
I recommend them but they will come without the wreath around them.

Definitely, I would recommend and purchase this item again. Candles were shipped promptly and in excellent condition. Great price. After one dinner party, I told a guest I would take care of the candles on the table. We had both these flameless and other traditional candles lit. The guest was amazed these were not "real".
