Vanilla Star Junior's 5 Pocket Skinny Jean With Back Flap Pocket

I bought these because of the cheap price and I have a new found obsession with jeans after wearing skirts for about 3 years straight...

These were PERFECT. The fit is great, the coloring is great, and it is true to a skinny jean style...

They do run long, but I usually have to order "short" length jeans anyways, as I'm about 5'3" with 28" legs...(woe is me)

but a great purchase, cheap and they shipped VERY fast. Ordered on Thursday morning and recvd Friday afternoon with 2 day shipping option!

My new favorite pair of jeans :)

Amazon claims these jeans are Vanilla Star, but I was sent a made in China brand called "Imperial Star". These Imperial Star jeans are 57% Ramie, 21% Cotton, 21% Polyester, and 1% Spandex; in other words, they are stiff and uncomfortable. I ordered a size 5 and could barely get them on -- they fit more like a size 3 or 1. By contrast, the Levi's Junior's Leggings Skinny Dip 535 and the Southpole Junior's Low Rise Signature Fit Skinny Jeans are true to size, a 5 really is a 5 in those brands.

Pros:

1. The Elite Wash (a very dark blue rinse) looks pretty good; makes the jeans appear pricier than they actually are.

2. Stitching on the back pocket looks cute, just like the picture.

3. Unlike another reviewer who bought the black color of these jeans, the pair I received didn't smell bad.

4. Inexpensive.

Cons:

1. Muffin-Toptastic! Sizing is waaay off -- even if you're fit, order a size up (at least) if you're determined to try this brand.

2. Fabric is medium soft, but inflexible, which makes these jeans uncomfortable to wear.

3. Wrong brand may get sent. If you don't mind playing "Jeans Roulette" with Amazon and running back and forth to return them, go for it.

5. The length seems off too; they're too short. I verified this by having a size 3, 5'2" friend try them on -- they hit right above her ankle.

6. Will probably shrink further after you wash them.

Overall, I'd say PASS. Not worth the trouble, even at this low price. Try a different brand.

i used to order size 3 for jeans, but i can't put on this one... i gave it to my friend, who usu order 0 or 1 and still she found it too small ...

I always have such a problem with jeans, especially skinny ones. I have a small waist and big hips. I have size 9 hollister jeans, and they fit good on the legs and lower rear, but they literally fall off at the waistline, or should i say hipline. I always have to belt all jeasns in super tight and it looks bad.

I ordered these in my usual size 9 and they fit PERFECTLY on my waist, rear, and legs! Thats a miracle for me! If you fit ordinary junior sized jeans then these will be small and give you a muffin top and look saggy in the legs, but if you are like me, then you wil love them!!

I removed the flaps on the pockets, by the way.

NOTE: if you have hips, and heavy thighs like me wear skinny jeans with a long top that goes down to your crotch or lower, it makes your legs look 20 pounds thinner!!

I ordered these and another pair of skinny jeans, but in the black color, and they are both amazing! They look great, and didn't come w/any sort of strange smell, like other people have reported. I was able to get both pairs of jeans shipped to me for $11 total! Heck of a deal if you ask me!

I purchased these jeans and love them. The best part of the jeans besides price is that they are stretched. they are cute and comfy . They jeans are imperial star and off brand of vanilla star. Like when you go to khols and get simply Vera by Vera Wang. your buying a part of the off collection. Overall great jean.

I ordered these pants thinking when I received them

they would not fit me and I would have to send them

back. Mainly because I am small and hard to fit. To

my suprise they not only fit me perfect but they

looked good too. In all my years of shopping this

is the best buy I have ever made. Not only was it

the best price for good quality clothing the

shipping price and time taken was great too.

ok i wanted vanilla star jeans but i didn't get vanilla star jeans!!! false advertising!! but the jeans are cute for a good price but still a little mad about not getting vanilla star i bought these because i was going back to school and i needed a whole lotta jeans but i found out that my school became a uniform school so i have no use for the jeans!! but still cute pair of pants!

I can not believe the price on these Jeans! They are awesome, and a comfortable stretchy fit.
