I used this product to remove a very dark brown from my hair. It took several applications which can be very tedious [after each application you have to put a volume 10 peroxide on the hair to see if there is anymore dye left in the hair]...It doesn't damage the hair at all, and I was able to recolor my hair in a shade that was much better suited for my skin color and eyes. Happy with the product.

Okay, my mother is a hair stylist and told me to buy Vanish to take the remaining manic panic color out of my hair. This stuff smells so bad, like rotten eggs. It took most of the color out but I had to use 2-3 of these. My hair smelled like rotten eggs for nearly a month. It also lightened my natural hair color since my roots were growing out. Use only one of these if you can. Or have a wait between multiple uses. I'd say wait time anywhere from 1-4 weeks. But yeah, great product for removing hair color. I've used this a few times in the past and I like the product. I just hate the smell!!! Works though and also depends on what color you're trying to get out of you hair. Manic Panic green colors are so stubborn!!!!
