This book is amazing. It is a big page-turner. You will always want to read more. I would recommend this book to anyone and I would recommend this series to anyone. John Feinstein is a great sports mystery writer!

Tenis never was this bad!,
This review is from: Vanishing Act: Mystery at the U.S. Open (Paperback)
The book I read was Vanishing Act. The main characters name is Steve. He is friends with a girl from South Carolina. The friend gets tickets to the U.S open through one of his and her friends who are a writer. He gets them tickets to it, but they have to help him Wright about it. At the event, there is female player who is one of the best (and prettiest on the tour. But when she is supposed to come out of the opening to the stadium for her first game, she disappears!
I did not like this book for many reasons. One of them is they did not tell us a lot about Steve and his friend. Also it takes a while before the action starts so you have to be patient with this book (I was not). Also they have many random characters then are only used for about two pages. This is why I did not like the book Vanishing act. |
