5.0 out of 5 stars Vanishing World, May 26, 2010

This review is from: Vanishing Amazon (Hardcover)
Another spectacular book by Mirella Ricciardi. Different from Vanishing Africa, where East Africa was the author's natural home, Vanishing Amazon comes alive as a place foreign to the photographer, but where she picks up every nuance of the fascinating people, and offers the reader an unparalleled portraiture. Such scenes are not to be witnessed by many, and so we are thankful that Mirella has generously offered us this rare view of a people's of the rain forest and their way of life.
