5.0 out of 5 stars Best bra ever!
I love this bra. It is the most comfortable and most supportive bra I've ever owned. I have large and extremely heavy fibrocystic breasts. This bra provides plenty of support while still remaining comfortable. I have LOTS of these; some of them are many years old and still in great shape. Highly recommend this bra.

3.0 out of 5 stars comfort, but not enough support
I own several other Vanity Fair bras, and really liked them, so I figured I'd give this one a try. The material was very comfortable, but I didn't feel I got much support from it. The adjustable part of the strap isn't very long, so I couldn't shorten the straps enough. When you add the stretchy fabric in the straps, I was not being held in place much at all. Maybe if...

5.0 out of 5 stars Better than those at 3x the price!, May 24, 2007
This review is from: Vanity Fair Women's Enchanted Lace Full Figure Underwire #75031 (Apparel)
I'd been wearing Wacoal bras at $50+ when a bra-shop salesperson introduced me to the Vanity Fair Enchanted Lace Full Figure Underwire bra. I was sure I wasn't going to like it, but she encouraged me to try it anyway. Now my Wacoal bras are sitting in the closet drawer unworn and I'm about to order another Vanity Fair. And I'm saving money, too!

When it comes to buying a bra, we all know how difficult it is to find one that fits. Either it isn't comfortable in the band, or the cups don't fit. This bra, however, is the best bra I have found yet. I have been wearing this model for 5 years now, and have tried others in the mean time, but always, always return to my favorite. Why do I bother trying other styles? I know none of them will be as comfortable as this. Please, Vanity Fair, never stop making this model number!

Bras are a very personal item and I recommend trying different styles that are properly fitted before ordering online. I've been wearing these bras for at least 6 years and they work well for my 59yo body. In size 40C there are 3 rows of hooks which adds to the support. Recently, they finally improved the clip that holds the adjustable straps so they don't slip out of position. To address another review: no, they are not for aerobic activity. I wear a good workout bra for jogging or workouts. I suspect that if you are over a D cup you will need a different style.

I now order from Amazon because they have a good price and other sites require you order $50 or more to get free shipping.

The adjustable part of the strap isn't very long, so I couldn't shorten the straps enough. When you add the stretchy fabric in the straps, I was not being held in place much at all. Maybe if I worked a desk job, this would be okay, but I'm relatively active, on my feet and moving most of the day, and this bra didn't cut it.

Wow... I'm so glad I ordered this! It's perfect! I did the measurements like they recommended and ordered that size, fits great. The shoulder straps don't slip down nor does it feel like they're digging into my shoulders at all. It supports beautifully with just the right amount of stretch. I'm ordering more!

4.0 out of 5 stars Still looking for the perfect bra, July 27, 2010

I tried this because I thought it might work with my narrow shoulders, even though I'm not an underwire girl. As underwires go, it's the most comfortable I've ever tried, and I'm sure I can get used to that 'feel', and it's better than most for straps staying in place.

4.0 out of 5 stars most comfortable straps I've found, May 2, 2010

Bra shopping is like jeans or swimsuits--just slightly better than having a root canal. When you find one that works, you want several in all colors so you won't have to go through it again anytime soon! This bra fits the bill, I have two and plan to get more soon. Worth the money. Comfortable to wear all day, and the straps are heavenly-no shoulder "dents" or discomfort and well-placed. Only negative I've found is the back closure is stiff material and scratchy--but it goes away after a few washings. Highly recommended.

1.0 out of 5 stars Squeaky Bra!, October 12, 2009
The Bra squeaked loudly until after multiple washings. Now the wire has poked through and I can no longer wear it, after only several months. I would like to return.
