Comfort and durability? RIGHT HERE! (*and* they look good!), July 13, 2006
This review is from: Vanity Fair Women's Body Shine Illumination Brief #13809 (Apparel)
I never thought I'd write a review about undehpants, but I must! I LOVE THESE THINGS. The price may seem high to some people, but they're worth every penny I've paid.
Let's start with how and why I found these superior undehpants.
Back in the day, I would just drive to Ye Local Chain Store and buy packs of Hanes or Fruit of the Loom -- brand names that had a reputation for quality (and thus had my zombie-like loyalty). I remember they were NOT cheap, and within a few washings they would begin unraveling, getting holes, the elastic band would start to separate, etc. The nylon briefs also had lace edging that was itchy (even after it started UNRAVELING). Horrible! It was frustrating to pay good money for a poorly-made product. So I finally became un-zombified and went to Kohl's to hunt for a more "upscale" and hopefully more DURABLE pair of undehpants.
Eureka!!!! These Vanity Fair briefs caught my interest. Why?
--Shimmering, rich-looking fabric.
--A variety of interesting colors (some which aren't online)
--Very soft fabric.
--No over-fancy, scratchy lace... soft, simple, and sturdy trim.
--They looked and felt well-made.
I bought a few pairs and found that they are the GREATEST ARTICLES OF CLOTHING KNOWN TO MAN OR WOMAN. They are extremely comfortable... as you can read above, the nylon has a bit of spandex thrown in there for a bit of stretch. Soft and comfy all over, and they stay where they're supposed to. The trim is a nice satiny fabric, perfect for people like me with sensitive skin that reacts to scratchy lace.
My oldest pairs have gone through the wash countless times, and they are still in beautiful condition.. no snags, no holes, no unraveling edges, no runs in the nylon, and no fading either! My old Hanes pairs would have been a knotted tangle of holey mess by now.
I'm having trouble finding these in stores lately; the racks are always stuffed with the hi-cut version (which I don't find as comfortable). I hope they're not phasing these out... buy them here while you can!
***** In summary,
COMFORT and DURABILITY make these undehpants worth purchasing, even if you have to pay full price. And they also look great!
You must buy some immediately! Just think... for someone to have spent all this time writing a review about underwear, they MUST be somethin' special.

These are the most comfortable, good looking briefs. Soft and nice, don't bind or ride up. I highly recommend them.
