This book contains some of the most innovative afghan patterns I've ever seen. I specifically purchased it after searching for a double wedding ring afghan pattern. It turned out to be simply the most gorgeous afghan I've ever seen. Quite challenging for a relative novice like myself.
The variety of afghans in this book is wonderful. The pictures are clear, the instructions simple to understand. It's very inspiring book.

I am so pleased with this book. I am on a constant search of imaginative, unique patterns from doilies to afghans, and this book does fit the bill. I have always been a fan of any Vanna patterns, I have the entire binder she puts out, and have done many things out of it. I like the way the patterns are written, they are very clear. One note of caution: Vanna patterns that I know of do not have difficulty levels noted, and they do vary quite a bit from beginner to advanced. You will have no problem if you are intermediate or up, but may have a few if you are a beginner.

This book was the first of a big collection, and it remains one of my favourites. Has gifts for everybody. The projects are beautiful, well explained and with detailed pictures. I've done several afghans and they all turned out perfect. I would recommend it to everyone from beginner to expert level. I also bought Vanna's afghans all through the house, also a great book.

This is a very pretty book with good instructions. There are color pictures of every afghan and the colors are unique and different. I also saw many afghans that I had not seen in other books. The price of the book is a good bargain for the information and patterns that are in the book. I highly recommend it.

45 patterns in this book. There are only a couple of baby blankets. The rest are full sized afghans. This book contains very "girly" patterns to more "manly" patterns. Good variety of patterns, some of which are unusual. The patterns list type of yarn, ounces, grams, and yardage although the name brand is not listed. Variety of crochet levels are represented. Something for everyone!

I saw this book years ago and was so excited to be able to have it in my hands again. I got right to work on some of the patterns and my grandson wants me to crochett a teddy bear for his girlfriend(page 57). The patterns are beautifully photographed. The only negative I have about this book is that it doesn't say what expertise level these patterns are.
Also, if you are a vanna fan, you will love the book just for the photos. The condition of the book was very good but not exactly like new.
