This mount is great for women or beginner DIY projects. It went in easy without any extra parts needed.

Though mine was modified a little bit by increasing the lenght of the tube, all I can tell is that this little monster holds my AKAI 40" LCD in the air with ease. It takes 2 people to carry my LCD but it only takes 1 vantage point ceiling mount to lift my LCD tv in the air with total confidence and assured safety. Just read and follow the istructions on mounting this thing and you'll never have problem installing it.

My TV is hanging good in my corner area down in my living room and a lot of people noticed what I did and they thought it was intalled by a PRO and I said NO. I said it's this vantage point celing mount that made this magic. It could swivel any angles I like from side to side and up or down. But for safety reason, tilting up or down needs to be adjusted using a hex tool but no worries, for as long as my kids or anybody is safe with my TV on TOP, I'm satisfied.

Thanks to this product, I could watch TV in any corners of my living room with ease!

I ordered this to hold a 40" LCD for the corner of our bedroom. The product quality was top notch and the Amazon price was fantastic.

I had a LCD TV that didn't conform to the Standard Mounting and A sheet rock wall that wouldn't support the TV and this allong with the universal connecter made a perfect fit. It was relatively easy to use ... suggestion connect the bottom before screwing in the top ...

2 Stars because it did not my fit my 42" TV and the description says up to 42" I got a Vizio in case this makes a difference. This only fits 1 hole mount pattern so make sure your TVs holes are only an 8" x 8" pattern. As for as build quality and features I really DO wish it would have fit because it looked great mounted where I wanted it. Tey need to re do their description or add another mounting bracket with the TV to fit different Vesa patterns

Good for the money for sure! I mounted a 37" Vizio with this in the center of my bedroom. Looks very clean and nice. Very sturdy and well built. I only wish it had more ability to adjust the vertical position of the TV on the mounting pole. No matter because it still works great!

I purchased this ceiling mount for a new Samsung 40" LED LCD TV. I liked the finished look of it and its compact size since I wanted the TV up closer to the ceiling but also have the ability to tilt the TV down a bit towards the bed since it would be used in our bedroom. I made a mistake when ordering and did not realize that the TV had a 400mm screw pattern and this mount could only support up to 200mm. I could not find another model I liked so I contacted Vantage Point support and they offered to send me a custom adapter plate they had designed to make it work with the Samsung. The adapter plate arrived just a few days later as promised and it worked well.

The instructions are pretty much pictoral in nature but were easy enough to understand with a little bit of trial and error. The materials are also very solid so there is no doubt they will be able to hold the load. My only hardware issue was with the provided mounting screws to attach the whole thing to the ceiling stud. Even with the pilot hole drilled I was having to apply so much torque to the screws I was breaking them. Mostly likely due to the hardness of the wood. I ended up buying some heftier lag bolts from Home Depot and was able to attach the whole thing fine.

Very happy with the end result. It was easy to make the final horizontal and tilt adjustments to get it just the way I wanted it and it looks good. I'm happy with the quality and value of the product and would recommend Vantage Point to others.

We have a built in bookcase and couldn't fit a new television inside it. We used this ceiling mount and attached it to the upper cabinet and the television hangs right in front of the lower opening. Worked well for the application. There is a little more movement than expected but have been assured it is secure.

Came as promised and easy to install. Just make sure you screw the supports into a beam!

Looks great in the bedroom.

I would and will buy again. Simple to install and use. No adapter plates needed,GREAT. The only thing I would change is some wording in the instructions.
