It's a real page turner. I read it from cover to cover in just under six hours. It probably would have taken less time if I didn't have to stop to laugh so hard. The main character is the perfect personification of the mass hysteria represented by the anti-vaping crowd. The commentary by "IPIC" is equally as funny, but also scary because there are really people who think that way. The story is straight up slapstick and the timing is very well done with the jokes. It helps if you are familiar with vaping culture to get some of the jokes but even if you're not, the book is a informative guide to what vaping is all about even if it in such a hilarious way. I didn't laughed this hard over a book ever. Vape Mania will thrill some people and peeve some off to. The only question is, which one are you?

"Melvin Provario" takes on the prissy holier-than-thou practitioners of anti-tobacco prohibitionism with biting satire and side-splitting comedy. Any vaper will recognize and howl at Melvin's journey through his own particular slough of despond, but even if you've never tried an e-cigarette, this is one hysterically funny read! Online forums; greedy, unethical researchers; know-nothings who spout the latest media headlines as fact; e-cig storefronts and convenience stores; even the postal service: Provario spares no one.

This is one of the funniest books I've ever read, about anything. I hope we can look forward to more from Provario in the future!

It's a parody on the ridiculousness of the anti-vaping world and how to SOME people vaping can be a kind of crack. It's like a William S. Burroughs novel, but with vaping instead of drugs.

It's a funny book, no doubt. It has a light view of vaping and makes the subject fun. However, most vapers would agree that the enemy is the FDA and the bigs. The fact that in life the author sits around in one vape forum slamming another makes me question his/her integrity. Vapers should be united regardless of what forums they choose to visit. After reading what I could only describe as butt hurt dreck on a vape forum from this person. I regret purchasing (as cute as the book is) out of mere principal. I am not in the habit of supporting whiners and people who hide behind a fake internet persona to slam others.

Bought the book, thought it was interesting for the first dozen pages or so. Then it just got kind of boring, like a long running joke that ran too long. This guy must spend way too much online or something, because after thumbing through some of the later pages, he goes on and on about stuff that normal vapers could care less about. Interesting concept, but not a very good book.

Ecigs are taking over man; Deal with it. This book just shows how eCigs are becoming part of our culture now; Soon more popular then smoking cigarettes.

Very "Reefer Madness" feel to this book. Maybe "Vapor Madness" would have been a more apt title.

Brought to you by big tobacco company lobbyists and endorsed by the FDA that adds FSC to EVERY PACK of American cigarettes along with literally thousands more unnecessary carcinogens in an attempt to keep you smoking about 8,000 plus chemicals including cyanide, arsenic and formaldehyde even in your "natural" cigarettes. In my own study of what the medical community would rather have you smoke (BEFORE BIG BROTHER ENFORCES HIS ANSWER THROUGH THE AMA) - WITHOUT EXCEPTION ten out of ten doctors (same stats for nurses and Physicians Assistants, all prefer you vape nicotine added to vegetable or propylene glycol which have both proven HARMLESS in all studies to people who aren't allergic to one (And if they are allergic it is usually to the propylene glycol so they just need to switch to pure vegetable glycol ). The nicotine next into these formulas is toxic only in large amounts because it is a stimulant - just like caffeine. Nicotine is also like caffeine in that it is NOT A CARCINOGEN!!! Don't let them fool you, folks -antifreeze contains ethylene glycol a totally different thing and yes ETHYLENE IS DEADLY! So if you intend to add ethylene to your coffee or your e-cigarette, my guess is that you are consciously trying to kill yourself. I strongly recommend you do not let books like this scare you in fact I recommend you spend your money on your favorite e-liquid instead and if you want to read something scary about smoking research the "FSC" aka."Fire Safety Controls" that the FDA MANDATES BE ADDED TO EVEN IMPORTED CIGARETTES IN THE USA!!!
