I have many books on pin-up art but this one has images I had never seen before. It is a lovely retrospective of Alberto Vargas and his fascinating life and beautiful art. Highly recommend!

This book shows why Vargas's pin-ups are the best compared to Petty and Elvgreen

His career lasted many years and still his prints are very collectible as well as

the old calenders and his work in Playboy.

I HAVE TWO OTHER BOOKS OF THE VARGAS WORKS AND THEY ARE MORE INTERESTING THAN THIS ONE .ALSO I USE THE COLOR PLATES BECAUSE I PAINT THESE IN OIL SO I FOUND IN THIS BOOK MANY BLACK AND WHITE PICTURES.SORRY FOR MY ENGLISH BUT I AM FROM ARGENTINA.
