If you dont have time to read the entire Varney's Midwifery this is a great condensed version, and its handy to have with you when seeing patients for a qick reference.

This pocket reference is not only great for the clinical area but is perfect for students to review from. The sections are really well laid, percise, & to the point. It is one of the best purchases that I have made by way of clinical referneces so far. However, while the spiral copy is convenient for quickly flipping through, I would recommend purchasing a bound copy as wear & tear is less likely to cause pages to fall out.

I am preparing for FNP clinical, and this small pocket version of Varney's will prove most helpful. Currently, the apps available aren't that great, so this is one book worth weighing down a pocket! Includes most pertinient info--easy to find/easy to read presentation.

Great book for WHNP/CNM students. It condenses the most important components of the HUGE Varney text book into a convenient pocket guide. My only disappointment is that I didn't buy the spiral bound version. I didn't think it would make a difference but now I think I would have liked it better. However, the content is the most important part and it contains a lot of great stuff.
