4.0 out of 5 stars this is a great cd to listen to before the great game
this cd is a great cd to listen to before the big game or at the pep rally and if you really like coming at you and going to get you music this is a great cd for you I would reccomend this cd to any athlete who enjoys listening to great music before games to get them pumped up.

2.0 out of 5 stars pretty bad
I absolutley love Fastball's Are You Ready For the Fallout. It's a wonderful catchy song. I also like Third Eye Blind's Horror Show and Greenday's Nice Guys Finish Last. Unfortunately, most of the rest of the songs are pretty bad. My Hero and Hot For Teacher are alright, but I've always hated Run. The remainder of the songs just blend together.

4.0 out of 5 stars Get ready to get pumped!, August 1, 2000

This cd is a great combination of some very talented music makers, there isn't one song that I want to skip! I love to listen to this cd right before I go on the field. The cd booklet has great pictures, too! I suggest this cd for anyone who likes to get pumped and to anyone who loves rock. The only problem, no AC/DC, though it lacked that, it's still great!

5.0 out of 5 stars Varsity Rock....not Blues, February 14, 1999
By A Customer

At first I didn't want to see the movie, but a friend of mine dragged me to it. It was actually quite good, but what causght my attention the most was the awesome soundtrack. I could hear Foo Fighters and Collective Soul and many others. I bought the soundtrack the next day. It is one of about 5 that I listen to over and over. I highly recommend this CD.

I really liked this cd, my personal fav is "Varstiy Blue" by Caroline's Spine. And I really like "My Hero" and "Run", I just wish they had the original AC/DC.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great album, but why no AC/DC?, July 28, 1999
By A Customer

This is an excellent CD, and there's not a bad song on it. I do, however, I have one complaint. In the movie, they played "Thunderstruck" by AC/DC. On the CD, they had a cover by some group called Sprung Monkey. I don't see why they couldn't just use the original, since it was in the movie. Other than that, this CD rules. Tracks 1-6 are the best ones. Also, the movie was filmed about 10 miles from where I live, so that's pretty cool.

The movie was great and the soundtrack only made it better. Not only as appropriate as it gets, but also some great songs too like Thunderstuck and Nice Guys Finish Last. If you liked the movie, you will love the soundtrack - no questions, if, ands, or buts. Definitly a must buy album.

When I first saw this movie I just could not get over the great music. Well, the soudtrack does not dissapoint. The only problem was the last few songs and the fact that AC/DC was not represented. If you liked the music in the movie get this
