best hiking shoes
I love it. I have been wearing this daily for last six months. I am expecting twins. My feet are swollen. This is the most comfortable shoes I own (out of hundred something pairs I own). I also wore it for outings, hikings before I got pregnant. I highly recommend this boots. Just be careful wearing them in the winter when it is slippery out because the boots don't have...

Rain ready, but not Mountain ready
I bought these shoes for hiking. I especially liked that they were gore-tex. However, after taking them out on the trail for a while, they are not very good hiking shoes. Standing in them is fine, but going down hill they hurt. My feet get jammed at the toe and I usually can't hike the next day because my feet still hurt. If all you're going over is relatively flat...

I bought these shoes for hiking. I especially liked that they were gore-tex. However, after taking them out on the trail for a while, they are not very good hiking shoes. Standing in them is fine, but going down hill they hurt. My feet get jammed at the toe and I usually can't hike the next day because my feet still hurt. If all you're going over is relatively flat terrain, then these should be fine, for 2000+ mountains they won't be.
