I have several pairs of Vasque trail runners and am disappointed with these ones. I buy the 7W which usually have plenty of room, but these 7W are too narrow and small even with very thin socks (a problem given I brought these shoes for winter and need to wear thicker socks). Having worn them a number of times they do not appear to have any give so are unlikely to ever fit properly.

The several times I wore them hiking/bush walking I had to keep taking the shoe off to pull out grass seeds that easily worked their way through the small holes - they will be impossible to wear in spring when the seeds really come out.

This shoe is extremely comfortable and works well for hiking. This is my second pair and I could not imagine life without it. I love that it is waterproof, breathable and doesn't use animal products.

These are my first pair of hiking shoes. I have having a lot of problems with the arch in my left foot before I got these shoes. They are very comfortable, provide excellent support (no more arch pain), and keep my feet dry. I have wide feet and these fit very well and are true to size. It is worth the price. I will buy another pair when these get worn out.

Primarily purchased for the shoe's waterproof properties. My feet were wet within a half hour in moderate rain. A waste of money.
