Wonderful Shoes, October 27, 2010

I have to be honest, I was fully prepared to hate these shoes. I have other Gore-Tex shoes(Merrells) that get soaked through just walking in wet grass. I just received these and tried them out this past weekend. I walked four miles each day in driving rain. I was completely soaked with the exception of my feet. These shoes are so comfortable, not even so much as a blister. They are very stable on wet leaves, mud, and grass. They also do not seem to make my feet too warm which can be a problem with Gore-Tex shoes. In five days I have walked 20 miles and am so pleased. I don't know how long they will last, but with the mileage that I accumulate I would expect them to last at least 3-4 months. I will be buying another pair very soon.
