I never saw the Trees but I hope that I might one day. Having bought and liked Mark Lanegans last CD I was still hankering after Vans stratospheric guitar. This really shows what a band the Trees were - you can split them down the middle and each comes up trumps. Great guitars and Ozzy style vocals are to the fore.
BTW. I saw Mark play with QOTSA and he was great..

This album was great, it was a mix of your favorite 70's rock bands, and a new cool feel.
