Magnetic Student Driver Signs

I bought these magnets to protect my 16 year old learning driver, as well as my car! Having three of them made the fact that she was new and inexperienced on the road well publisized. I put on each on the front doors, and on on the hood. (I bought a seperate magnet for the back) But...(and there is always a 'but' with a low rating), they are not very strong and all where lost within a month of occassional driving. They bend out of shape easily, corners lift, and they blow off the vehicle even at slower driving speeds. Having a new driver turn around and look in shoulders and ditches while learning the road ways is not a great idea. Alerting other drivers of the 'student' status is a wonnder idea, and I did notice most other drivers extending a considerable amount of consideration and caution while driving near my daughter while using these. I was very sad to see them go.

Bigger and brighter than the bumpersticker my daughter's driving instructor gave us. Also, they are magnetic so they can easily be switched between my husband's car and my own.

Bought these because my daughter is learning to drive in the busy suburbs of Washington, DC. She is also learning to drive a manual transmission - which we all know if more difficult. So, to try and help with the "stalling" issues I got these signs and they really seem to relieve stress on us when we are driving. It just let's everyone know that she is learning and to stop honking and tailgating, etc. They are big and do stay on well...

As soon as these went on the car,I noticed a huge difference in other drivers around us. My daughter just got her permit and the 1st time I let her drive on the road,we got some jerk tailgating who passed us yelling out obscenities. Sooo,I bought these magnets and have been using for a few weeks now and have noticed that other drivers back off and I think my daughter feels more comfortable too.It can't hurt to let evryone else on the road know that they are learning!!They can also be moved from 1 vehicle to another which is great. Not sure if they'll stay on well during bitter cold months,but we'll see. An awesome investment and peace of mind for all parents and teens!!

Perfect for what junior drivers. Looks small when you get it, but can be seen very well on the car. It works great and really stops people from tailgating my daughter as she learns to drive!

THESE HAVE BEEN A GREAT HELP HAVING A CHILD LEARNING TO DRIVE. WE BOTH FEEL LESS STRESSED, AND THE FACT THAT THEY ARE MAGNETIC MAKES IT EASY TO SWITCH TO WHICHEVER CAR IS BEING USED. GREAT PRODUCT.

These signs are great, high-visibility, and seem to stick well. Just make sure that your vehicle's body panels are magnetic...turns out the rear hatch on our Mazda5 is plastic...so I used the rear on the hood and made my own back sign to match which I laminated and stick to the window with velcro when needed. The signs do warn other drivers, which helps (I had to add "with stick shift" to my back sign...would be nice if that variation was available)

Very good product. Stays in place well. Makes a difference on how other drivers react.
