Great Sticks For Soft to Medium Hitters, February 21, 2011

I decided to try these sticks because of their size (length and diameter) and the tips really appealed to me as well because I like to play my ride and I wanted a wooden tip that would help to give me a great, full sound.
These are hickory sticks with a GREAT feel. The taper to the tip is a bit too narrow for my taste, and was a concern for me because of the way that I play. I can be a hard hitter, especially when I really get into the music! LOL!
These sticks were great in the playing environment and they provided the sound that I was wanting, especially on my ride cymbal. I do play hard at times and they cracked pretty quickly, but that was after playing in several church services.
If you like the feel of a 5A stick with a little more "meat" to it, then give these a try. They've got a great feel, great reach, and a great tip on them to make your cymbals really sound full and rich.
