I have it's little brother, the model 99, 16oz hickory handle rip hammer. So nice balance, I can nail with my eyes closed ( Not recommended, fingers may suffer). Only problem is, that no one carries it so I'm getting this one and a 16oz fiberglass one as well. My old one is getting a new handle. If you own a hammer for twenty eight years, it becomes like family.
