Most Helpful Customer Reviews

7 of 8 people found the following review helpful By Keith Otis Edwards on December 27, 2007
I consider myself an articulate fellow, but I am at a loss as to explain why I enjoy this recording far more than any of the other renditions (I own several) of RVW's Fifth Symphony. It may be that, while recording, the young musicians felt more emotion for this marvelous composition. Not only is the performance superb, but the recording is fine, too.

Nice cover art - the swan . . . graceful . . . contemplative.
