I loved the idea of this item. The plushie itself is quite cute and well made, however when I recieved it the plush part was completely detached from the wooden base. I requested that a replacement be sent to me, which I recieved in a very timely manner, but the plush part was completely detached from the base AGAIN. It looks like there was just a fine bead of hot glue around the edge and once down the middle, which is definitely not enough to keep it attached to anything. Also, this is supposed to be a wall-mounted object, but the wooden base is completely flat on the back. There is no hook, no hole, nothing that would allow it to be hung on a wall. I plan on re-attaching the plush head to the base with fabric glue (which is a far more appropriate adhesive than hot glue), and would suggest that the manufacturers of this product do the same.

Bought this for a friend's birthday. It shipped from outside the US, and the head was detached from the mount when he got it so we had to glue it back on. It's on his wall now and looks awesome and super cute. The red eyes are a nice touch. A must-have for any HP Lovecraft or Cthulhu fan!

Like all other reviewers, the head was separated from the base when it arrived. The plush itself is well made and overall I like it - I just need to remount the plush to the base (thinking of using 3M velcro hangers - those things are awesome). Also as another reviewer pointed out - there is no hole or hanger on the back - so I have to add a hanger or hole of some sort to mount it on the wall.

Overall a nice looking product and worth the money (I paid around $18) but be prepared to re-attach and add your own hanging device!

Looks pretty nice, except for the fact that like the other 3 reviews the plush head was detached from the mounting board before I had even gotten a chance to take it out of its packaging. It is easy enough to buy some better adhesive to fix it, but for the price it is a bit of a burn.

When i picked this up, i was excited about the prospects it brought to the house. I thougt I had a great looking toy, that it would last, and that it would say "i love Cthulhu" loud and clear. The only problem was that this thing was glued to the board and was not attached correctly, making it fall apart quite easily. Imagine my surprise when it feel apart the first day, making me a VERy unhappy customer. This is no knock on the plushy itself, but on the execution of the design.

If you see it and want it, note the rating it has gotten. People seem to be getting the same problems and that is sad considering what might have been. O well.

The idea of a mounted Cthulhu head is hilarious, but the execution was pretty poor. The stuffed head is hot glued to the board, which is too heavy, and I'm finding it extremely difficult to keep it mounted to any surface. The gluing job was not that great, and the head eventually fell off (within a day) of mounting it to the wall.
