I really like this, but would like it much better with a handle. It makes it awkward to move around - otherwise, very nice quality.

Dimensions on description are inaccurate. Should be 4.2.
Picture is deceptive. Does not come with organizing tabs.
Keys are of flimsy material.

I purchased this to replace an old card holder that had no locking mechanism. I didn't need the actual lock, just a clip that would keep it securely closed while carrying. This box worked just great for my needs. The only thing lacking is a handle. However, a trip to my local hardware store solved that. I attached my own decorative handle, like one used for cabinetry. Now, I can easily carry this without fear of it falling open.

I wanted a box to store my 4x6 cards in and I saw this ideastream vaultz at stores, but only in the 3x5 size. So ordered online and it's as nice as I expected. Really don't need the lock, but might be nice to give a kid so they can lock up their little treasures in their own little vault :-)

I've been looking for a box that stays shut. I don't need the lock really like the other reviewer said. A handle would be great too. I was actually hoping it would be longer. I wish they made a longer version. I'd like one this size and one longer. That would work great for my needs.

I purchased this to store small items and have a way to secure them. This was a perfect purchase for my needs. The only issue I has was when I tried to remove the tag from inside the lining came off a little bit.be sure to cut that tag with a pair of scissors.

I love this box and this is the best price that I could find. I will definitely buy another in the future.

Purchased for my 12-year-old son who wanted to start his own recipe box for some of his favorite recipes--wanted something nicer than a cheap plastic file box but less frilly/expensive than a lot of recipe boxes out there. Fits 4x6 cards nicely. Well made but I don't think it would hold up to heavy use. Yes, the lock is fairly flimsy, but hey, you shouldn't be buying this thing for security!

This is a great product. I wish they came with the A-Z file dividers (because who is just storing a box of of a thousand index cards unorganized?). It says it has a lock and key but I threw the keys away. If someone wanted to break into this they could just crack it open--if you need security, get a safe. The cloth/fabric lining is helpful because it protects the index cards a bit and doesn't show dirt or ink stains. Definitely buy if you're looking at this.

Ive been looking for a good sturdy recipe box for a few months now. The ones listed as 'recipe boxes' all seem really costly for what they are. I needed something durable and nice looking for my collection. This works great!!!
