Every time we play this album, it reminds me of the wonderful time we had visiting one of Europe's most beautiful countries, Portugal for the first time in '88.

The album's full of emotion, with its own distinctive sound and every track is a mini-masterpiece in itself.

Danni Kleins' hauntingly wonderful vocals make the album a modern-day classic. I shall not bore you talking about the individual songs that make up the album - buy it for yourself and love it, storing it alongside Dark Side Of The Moon, Led Zepp 4 or any of your Steely Dan classics.

Have you ever experienced music taking you to bars that are just about to close, lights which have just been turned on to full degree, people leaving and chattering, some drunk in their loved one's arms, whilst a stranger approaches you to make a sleazy comment, with an untrustworthy look in his eye? You know his intentions, but you cannot yet resist, because you are tipsy as you fall for his meaningless lines.

If there is one album that plays music with pictures, feelings, sounds, touch, and smell then this is the one.

Vaya con Dios burst onto the scene with their premier album, simply breathtaking. Powerful lyrics, enchanting music, and fantastic sense of song. That powerful voice by Dani Klein... She will recreate the rythm of a slowing train by singing syllables of a line, she will lay her heart with emotion coming from the song, and she will recreate any situation or scene she sings about with her intuitive knowledge of the song's atmosphere.

Atmospheric. That's the word to sum up this album.

Get it. That's the phrase to enjoyable music and to enriching your collection with a superb album. It is one of my all-time favourites.

Dani Klein - if you are reading this, my wish is to see you live as you perform each of these songs in a concert!

I was unable to locate this CD for a long time. I heard it at a friends house years ago (she has the album), fell in love with it and have been searching ever since. As a previous reviewer said, there is something nice about the grainy quality that an album adds to this, but the CD was wonderful just the same. I am definitely pleased with this purchase.
