4.0 out of 5 stars Great and powerful 'candle'., July 17, 2003
This review is from: Vector VEC138Y Sport Spot Light (Tools & Home Improvement)
This is a greal spotlight. I can not attest to it being seen 2 miles away, but it does light up a room in a cave from no light to no need for your flashights powerful. As the other reviewer I also give this 4 stars only due to its very extended charge time, more than half a day. After all that time being recharged, you get only 30 minutes of use. But I still like this spotlight very much, it is, was, one of 3 I had in my duffle bag. It does have a stronger ,brighter brother that I like better only for it being waterproof.

4.0 out of 5 stars One extremely bright light!, April 13, 2003

I have to say that this light is extreme, it's so bright that it lights up the entire block when I turn it on!! The only bad thing about it is the extremely loooooooooong charging time, it has to charge 18 hours for only 30 minutes of use! Over all it's a very good light if you don't mind the charging time, I gave it 4 stars because of the charging time.

2.0 out of 5 stars Won't hold a charge, February 6, 2007
This review is from: Vector VEC138Y Sport Spot Light (Tools & Home Improvement)
Nice bright light, but takes forever to charge, and after about a week, the batteries lose their charge. And you are not supposed to leave it plugged in all the time, so when you want the light, you first need to charge it for 12 hours!!! Not very convenient.
