I was very excited to use this dog collar when I ordered it, based on all the positive feedback I read. But less than 2 weeks after receiving and using the collar, it has cracked in several places and is virtually useless.

This product is great! It's small enough for my cat to wear comfortably and it does reflect light very well. It almost looks like a little jewelry collar!

My daughter has a black poodle and prior to getting the Vedante dog collar he was virtually invisible at night. Now when we let him out even the street lights are enough to make him visible. When she walks him the combination collar and leash make for an impossible to miss image in the face of any lights, especially headlights. This product really does reflect as well as what the manufacturer claims.

I love this collar and use it every night when I take my dog out for his late night walks. It is very reflective and I have noticed that cars slow down and veer further away from the sidewalk now that my dog has taken to wearing this at night.

I do not use this collar as my dog's main collar and I would never rely on it to act as the main collar. I wonder why anyone would rely on this product as the main collar given that the material is obviously stiff and frail. I use this collar for preventative measures: for more visibility at night & as a backup collar just in case the main collar breaks. I really like that it comes with a glow in the dark ID tag, which gives me a little more peace of mind just in case the worst happens and my dog's main collar does break.

I purchased this reflective cat collar 1 yr ago for my jet black indoor/outdoor country cat. I especially like to glow in the dark round tag that hangs from his collar for when he is indoors at night. He is so black I was always tripping over him in the night. Once he got this collar, I can see where he is at night.

Today I noticed his yr old collar is getting worn so I spent hrs searching the web for another one. I just read all the reviews and am so surprised with the 2-3 star ratings. Perhaps the dog collars aren't as well made as the cat collars... I don't know. My cats reflective Vedante collar has stretchy cords and a safety breakaway features. If the dog collar is made the same way, I don't think this would be good hooked to a leash. As another reviewer mentioned...it shouldn't be used as a dogs main collar.

As a cats collar ....I give it a 5 rating!

A great addition to beefing up safety when walking, not only for our dog but for the walker. We also purchased the reflective wrist bands which compliment the collar very nicely.

It is exactly as described. However, I have a small dog and the collar is very hard on his little neck.

I look to Amazon to be a leader in many ways. There are cheaper venues, but I like some of the features, values and customer service you get with Amazon. BUT foremost, I use the customer reviews the most. When somebody posts multiple reviews (all the same) it throws off the ratings and it seems like there's alot of people who like this product, but in reality there's not.

This collar is very stiff and uses a traditional loop/peg system. It also has a tendency to crack if you bend it a lot or maybe its from getting wet repeatedly? The reflective material does what it says and you'll be impressed by that, but for me and the day-to-day and more important night-to-night wear causes me to give this a 2 stars. It would have gotten more if there was more to give it. Posting 10 video reviews from a news cast doesn't sell me that THIS is a good product, but that this reflective material is REALLY reflective.

I hope other REAL users post real reviews for you other shoppers.

This is the most reflective collar I have ever had. This is my second one. They last about a year.

I'm glad I did not listen to some of the negative reviews. My guess is some dogs demolish all their collars and some dog owners are angry about it.

My dog does have a tendency to pull strongly on a leash, however, we follow the manufacturers recommendation and use it for night walks and our leash is attached to a harness and not the reflective collar. Dogs that pull strongly should be using a harness anyway for their own safety.

I give this 5 stars since it keeps us safer\more visible than the other brands. After all isn't that the point of a reflective collar???

The collar is great, until it breaks. The reflectiveness was great at night on my black dog.However, the collar started cracking and then eventually broke at one of the 'buckle holes'
At this price I was hoping it would last longer. I would never buy another one from them.

on the other had the little glow in the dark tag works really well and is still ok over a yr later
