Definitely a great option for us girls who don't wear jeans or other bottoms with a stiffer waistband, like skirts. Holds the weapon close to the body regardless of clothing, and when you're moving around. Also options to wear at the belt line, just at the top of the bottoms, around the belly, or just under the bra, if the size is within the range. Finally a way to wear on the body that won't pull down your clothing! Definitely would recommend. (Also a good company to deal with. Had to make a return. Quick response and friendly service.)

The creators of this did an AWESOME job. I was looking for a more 'universal' holster and this DOES the job. This holster is very well constructed, lightweight, conceals very well, etc. I'm not big on leaving reviews, but when I got this in the mail (nice prompt shipping) I went straight to the computer after trying it out.
Being a left handed shooter, there are NO complications. I usually conceal a 9mm Spring Field XDm... with this holster, I can carry my .40, .45, .22, etc. The options are endless with this holster.
There are even more pros that I can talk about... Being that it's an IWB holster, you don't have to buy pants that are 2 sizes bigger to accommodate this. It works with your standard size pants. I'm kind of mad I spent $70 on a holster a few months ago. I wish I saw this one first.
Buy this holster, try it out, you won't be disappointed!

I just received my Belly Band Holster today so I will leave my first impressions and then come back with some more information once I have had a chance to wear it for a while....
First, the holster shipped quick and was packaged well...Thank you Vedder. The construction looks pretty good and the elastic design seems like it would fit a pretty wide variety of guns. As for the fit around a middle-aged man belly, so-far so-good. I will say however that this holster is supposed to fit a 33" to 38" waist, and I wear a 36" pant (so I am sure my gut is just a little larger), and I had to strap it on all the way to the end of the Velcro to get it to feel tight enough where it wouldn't slide down with the weight of the gun. I might be over-tightening a little bit but I am wondering if you have a 33 or 34" waist if this size might not feel a little loose on you. Especially if you are pretty fit or if you have no hips to keep it from sliding down....
What I really like about the holster so far though is how easy it is to put on, how well it holds the firearm, and how infinitely configurable it is. I have a couple of tuckable IWB holsters and my gripe with those is that the weight of the gun pulls on my belt and so I constantly have to fidget to keep my pants up and the holster positioned in a comfortable way (even with a good belt). With those you also have those little tell-tale clips that sit over your belt. Not so with this holster....In fact it seems like this holster will be much easier to wear with a tucked in shirt (bonus!) and I like the fact that I don't have to juggle keeping my holster in position while trying to hold up my pants and tuck in my shirt all at the same time. I have to imagine that bathroom trips will be a little simpler as well without worrying that my holster is going to drop out of my pants and onto the floor of the public bathroom stall.
Tonight I tried the holster with jeans, gym shorts, and sweatpants and it works with them all. In fact, my shield is small enough that I can wear this with gym shorts and a slightly loose muscle shirt and there is no printing at all. I am even thinking that with a little looser button down shirt I might be able to start carrying my thicker Beretta PX4 again (double bonus!)
I gave it 4 stars for now for the quality construction, quick service, and the initial impression. If, after a few weeks, this wears as comfortable, and is as useful, as I think its gonna be (and I end up keeping my hybrid IWB in the drawer) then it will be a slam dunk 5 stars....
Update: I haven't worn my hybrid holster since I bought this ($80 bucks down the drain). If I am tucking in a shirt it is always this holster, and if I am going untucked it is either this one or my desantis D9. Now, I have seen other posters lament the fact that you can't re-holster a pistol with one hand and here is my thinking on this. If you are a professional and have some need to intermittently draw and re-holster your pistol, or if you are the type of person who likes to show off to your friends that you are ccw or occasionally show your gun to someone, then you might find this a little more painful as it definitely takes two hands to safely put your pistol back in the belt. However, if you are like me (and I suspect most other ccw permit holders), and want your gun to be as concealed as possible and pray that you never have a need to take it out of your holster, then this will not be an issue for you at all. I have found this way easier to put on, easier to tuck your shirt in over, and easier to go into the bathroom stall with, than any hybrid holster that I have personally tried and it doesn't require a belt to wear. Holsters are a very personal item and this may not be perfect for everyone but for me it's a five star product and a great value for being able to have different holster options.

This is a great holster system.
It is versatile.
It can be used to fit many types of firearms and magazines.
Multiple holster placement positions available as well.
It is like getting multiple holsters for the price of one.
Quality materials and a reasonable price.

I ordered the Vedder Belly Band not sure what to expect, but was hopeful as there were a few reviews saying that they were pretty good. Well, pretty good is an understatement. This thing is amazing. I know it's a belly band, but I tend to wear it in the middle of my stomach to get a little extra "conceal room." This thing hugs my Smith and Wesson 686+ so tight to my body and is still really comfortable! After the first 15 minutes I practically forgot that it was there. The belly band is amazing for concealing big firearms; I wore it with the 686+ (an L frame) for an hour at my friends house tonight and he had no idea. His mind was blown when I told him. Also, I wear pretty tight clothes. I was wearing an express fitted button up tucked in, and it hid it like a dream. I would recommend Vedder to anyone. It was at my door 2 business days after ordering, and Mike personally answered an email question I sent him within 2 hours at 9pm! Give Vedder a shot, you wont be disappointed.

This is it!! I'm carrying a Smith and Wesson Shield, 9mm, positioned a little forward of my right arm, in the 45 degree position, and I can hardly feel a thing! I'm short, I have no waist, and this holster is comfortable standing, sitting, or bending over! There is a vertical carry pouch too, and I put an extra magazine in there. This was also comfortable.
The materials, and construction, seem very good. The Velcro has several inches of adjustment, and holds firmly.
I'm 4'10" and I have a paddle holster, and a pocket holster. They are both ok, but difficult to wear with most women's clothing. This Vedder Holster will work with a variety of clothing, and I'd have to be wearing Spandex to make this thing print. (No chance of Spandex at 54, I'm just giving an example.)
I'm close to Houston, TX, and it's hot and humid here, so I'm wearing this holster with a light tank top underneath until the weather cools off, and I'm not sweating like a horse. I tried it without the tank top, in the house, for a few minutes, and it felt comfortable.
I am seriously thinking of buying more of these, just in case something happens to this one.

This holster is extremely well made and works exactly as advertised. The velcro closure was strong yet flexible, and allowed me to position the band low on my thigh as well as high on my waist. I carry a full-sized 9mm, and it handled this firearm with no problems. For us females who carry, it is a great option to purse-carry.

I bought this holster as my first concealed carry option. I am so happy I did. It fits perfectly and does NOT itch--some other belly band elastics are not comfortable to me. The quality of the elastic is great and the Velcro is very secure. IT DOES NOT budge when I wear it. I love to wear sweat pants and this holster/band conceals and protects without spinning around my middle. It rocks that you can wear this with your gun any which way you choose and be comfortable-- being right-handed or left-handed DOES NOT MATTER. Well done Vedder Holsters-- a superior product at a great price!
