Thank you so much for the helmet. It is a quality, lightweight helmet which I have been wearing every day over my others since it arrived. The transaction went smoothly and the seller was responsive and easy to deal with. I would definitely do business with them again and recommend them to anyone making a purchase with them.

This is my third Vega helmet, and I have always been very, very satisfied. The Summit II provides a better locking mechanism and better ventilation. This time, I ordered and XL, because earlier Large sizes had put quite a bit of pressure on my cheeks. While I can, and do wear my new helmet, I think I will stick to the Large on my next purchase. That's the great thing about Vega helmets. If you wear out one, and that takes a while, throw it away and get a new one. The prices are great, and the helmets are very comfortable. I have three other helmets of different brands, but I grab the Vega 90 percent of the time.

I had this helmet and love the fit and feel but it began to fall apart. There is a small square on the back of the helmet which looks removable but when I tried to do it the small plastic tab broke off. It didn't seem to have much to do with the function of the helmet. More of a plate to hid the air holes. I put a little glue on the plate and it was fine. About 1 1/2 weeks later I returned home from work and lifted the modular part of the helmet up and the left arm came detached from the helmet. I couldn't see any way to fix it so I returned it. The helmet looked and felt good but fell apart on me.

The modular flip is good for accessing your face and getting a better view without having to take the helmet off. Another effect of the modular flip is unfortunatly I have no excuse for my wife to not understand what I'm saying, but the good news is the drive thru can actually hear my order! All in all it does a good job of keeping your brains in your skull at a reasonable price.

This piece is definitely worth the money. It fits well (you should order one size larger that you normally would), is good quality, is comfortable (the air vents work great) and the tilting mecanism is very easy to use. You can pay a lot more for a helmet but I don't think you would see a significant quality improvement over this one. It is a substantial piece, i.e. looks pretty large when worn. If you are looking for a diminutive silhouette, you might want to look elsewhere.

This is a great helmet for the price. I am glad i got the XX as I need all of the size. I love the ability to flip up the full face for putting the helmet on and off. Only had a chance to wear it a couple of times, but I am pleased so far. Can't tell much about the venting because I have a full fairing and don't get much breeze. I think for the price you can't beat it.

...unbeatable---too wide to look stealthy, but decently made(little stuff peels off, which krazy glue fixes); impt part: lock works fine, and mechanism is solid; overall, light/komfy(if too big looking)...visor kame loose, 'eazy to fix that; visor replacement not cheap tho!

This is a great summer or winter riding helmet with great ventilation. Unlike the previous generation this helmet does not squeeze my cheeks and make it difficult to move my face. It has alot of front ventilation and will fit most men's heads snuggly. This one is a little bit on the roomy side compared to my last large helmet though.

The plastic on the mouthpiece where the vent is fell off!!! It had broken tab! I was only able to use it once. I dont think this is worth $130.

I got the x-large because I have a big head. Helmet fit great, not too tight around the ears, lightweight, and the firm windshield is my fav. component. It allows you to keep cracked for extra ventilation if you're hot and it doesn't jiggle in the wind:)

My brother with a slightly smaller helmet size even found this helmet a great fit. Also, it has plenty of ear-space. I can wear my headphones comfortably, although there are headphone pockets for speakers in helmet also, but I do fine with regular headphones and they don't get pulled out when I put helmet on.

One more thing, this helmet easily converts to a faceless helmet; the face guard slides up by pushing a button inside. I got this helmet for $78 in black. Others were selling same helmet for full price $125 so that's good:) (Not that it's not worth $125, but it certainly helps you choose when it's on sale:)
