I don't need much out of a wallet. A fold for the cash I keep on hand, a screen compartment for my license, a slot for my AAA card, another for my bank card: That's really all I need. However, as a vegetarian, I won't buy any product that uses leather as a material. Enter this wallet; It accommodates all my needs and desires and goes beyond that. With another pocket to the right of the screen slot that holds three cards (it might hold even more, but I don't have more test that) I get to hold on to the borders reward card that amazon has extinguished and leave a little room for growth. Also, as someone used to a tri-fold wallet, I was a bit hesitant to shift over to a bi-fold, but I am very pleased that I did make that change. It is comfortable in my back pocket to the point where I don't notice it. So why 4 stars and not five? The cost. This leather imitation, which is rather esthetically pleasing, is cheaper to produce than leather though the item holds a price tag greater than many leather wallets. That's my only qualm with this item, but hey, most all other imitation leather wallets are more expensive than this one (trust me, I spent a week looking in stores and many websites), so it actually has a modest price tag if only in comparison.

If you like slim fold wallets and have a thing about avoiding leather, this wallet might be of interest for you. I wasn't in the market for a vegan wallet, but when searching for a compact, thin, bifold wallet, I was intrigued by this offering. My only knack is that the wallet is a bit stiff and takes some time to "wear in." It doesn't have that soft leather feel at first, but after some heavy use, you'll be happy you went vegan. I've had mine for over a year and am more happy with my purchase with each passing day. Give it a look.

ID and credit cards fit very snugly into this vegan wallet. I'm very happy with the quality, and although it was a bit pricey, I felt good about ordering it and even better once it arrived. This wallet is very thin, has an ID window, and appears to be pretty sturdy.

I was replacing a 15 year-old Amity leather wallet that meant a lot to me. My girlfriend (now wife) purchased it for me at a little shop while vacationing. It has been a solid wallet and I really hated to see it go. Its biggest problem was its thickness. It held a lot, but it was huge. My friends called it my Costanza wallet (see Seinfeld).

So I was in the market for a new one. I found one here on Amazon that looked nice, was a lot thiner, and wasn't too expensive either. I was just about to order it when I noticed it was made from "baby lamb". Yuck. I searched for a vegan wallet and was happy to see a company making these sort of things. I paid a little mare than what the baby lamb wallet was going to be but I felt a whole lot happier about it.

When the wallet arrived the first thing I noticed was the logo pressed into the material. You can see it in the product pictures. I think it's a tad cheesy looking but I can deal with it. The wallet itself is very thin. On the left side of the fold it has a place for my ID and other sorts of cards I want to hold behind it. On the right side is two pockets for various types of cards. I have my credit/debit cards in the front pouch and insurance cards in the back. There is also an area behind these two pockets where you can store more cards. You access it from the side by where the fold is. Finally, there is just enough room for a small amount of bills. Mine actually stick out of the top a little bit. However, I don't carry much cash so this isn't much of a concern for me.

I don't know how this wallet will hold up over time. I would love to get 15 years out of it like the last, but I don't expect it. It looks good, has plenty of storage, it's compact, and I don't fell like I'm contributing to the death of baby lambs. Yay.

As the title suggests, it is what it is, a leather-like wallet of decent size that doesn't entirely feel like leather, but so far seems solid and reliable.

Just switched from a large leather bifold to this wallet yesterday. It is almost shockingly compact in comparison and much less obtrusive to carry around. It's too early to judge how well it will hold up. My only minor complaint so far is the definite pleathery feel.

This wallet is built for a minimalist like me. As soon as I got it, I took out half the things in my wallet because there just simply wasn't room (that's a good thing, in my opinion. If you want more slots, they have several other wallets to choose from). It's amazing how thin and light a wallet can be. The material is very leather-like, and seems very sturdy. All in all, highly recommended.

I bought this as a gift for my husband, who is vegetarian and prefers to avoid leather wherever possible. He was using a synthetic tri-fold wallet previously, and it was simply too bulky to be carried discretely in a back pocket, so I thought this might be a good alternative.

It appears to be a decent imitation of a typical leather wallet on the outside, but when you open it, it feels a pretty cheap. It's a very slim wallet, which I appreciate, but on the inside it looks like a much cheaper wallet. The inside of the bill compartment is lined with an incredibly thin black fabric that you can actually see right through behind the driver's license window. The front of the wallet I purchased arrived with a noticeable, permanent crease running vertically down the front, just to the left of the Vegan Collection logo. It has since also acquired a variety of dents from typical daily use in the three weeks since my husband started using it. Two small spots on the outside of the wallet have already had the black imitation leather material rubbed off and are showing the gray backing material underneath. In three weeks! I can't imagine what this thing will look like at the end of a year.

All that said, my husband says he really likes it, and thinks it is a big improvement over his previous wallet, which I have to agree with, but that isn't saying much. If I had paid $10-15 for this wallet, it honestly would have gotten a 5-star review, because it would have been exactly what I expected for that price range. But for $25, I would have liked to get a wallet he could use for two or three years, but I just can't imagine this one surviving that long.
