I liked this game better than Caesar's Palace. This game offered more variety with four games, plus you'd get a random scenario every once in a while with either good or bad consequences. Someone could sell you a watch only for you to either discover its a fake or you get a lot of money for it, someone starts wooing you and you get married - either it's true love or s/he is a con artist who steals your money, and the like. You of course can say yes or no to any of these scenarios, but you never know if it's a good or bad choice later down on the road. And if you earn enough money (over 100k if I remember correctly) you get a nice bonus ending to your game. Definitely a lot of fun to play. This is a four-player game, but you yourself can play all four at one time at the blackjack table, if you like.

4.0 out of 5 stars really not that bad, February 4, 2004

I got Vegas Dreams used from a kid a little older than me. He didn't live far from the middle school, so my mom picked me up after school one day and we drove over to his house because he was selling a whole bunch of used NES games. I looked at the selection and the only thing I thought looked good was Vegas Dreams.

Not only did it look good, it WAS good! It makes me happy when good things happen. Too many times I'm disappointed in something I thought would be great.

Okay so you play blackjack (which is fun) roulette (an okay game, most people drool over it though) slot machines (I always liked this the most, even though it's boring in real life) and keno (I don't care for this version, but in reality I seem to have good luck with it whenever I go to bars and whatnot). That's it. But wait, the game is only $4 right now, so don't complain! 4 games for 4 bucks. Not bad.

Those four games aren't as dull as you might think. Or maybe they are, I don't know. All I know is that my cousin came over one day, popped in Vegas Dreams and made more money in 10 minutes than I ever made in all the hours I put into the game! And that was the first time he even PLAYED Vegas Dreams! You better believe that made me jealous.
