4.0 out of 5 stars Good fun
This is a fun game. A wide variety of games gives you more options of games to play. I would recommend this game.

2.0 out of 5 stars Slow and cumbersome, but passes the time
I don't agree with the other two reviews that this is a TOTAL waste of money and time. Since it is the only WII title that offers casino-type gaming, it is worth what I paid for it for that reason alone. I don't agree with the other two reviews that this is a TOTAL waste of money and time. Since it is the only WII title that offers casino-type gaming, it is worth what I paid for it for that reason alone. You can play things like Black Jack, roulette, hold 'em and darts, etc. as 'training' games and as part of the main race theme, but it does an OK job of rendering those games even if they don't compare with 'real' casino games and can't compare with any of the $50.00 titles out there. This is a perfect example of 'you get what you pay for', because the controls are sloppy and the sounds/loops are tiresome, but if you want to quietly play some Vegas style games in the comfort of your own home without losing huge amounts of money, it's a way to spend some time doing that. However, if you're looking for casino games that play exactly like their vegas counterparts, you will definitely be disappointed.

1.0 out of 5 stars If you're looking for a casino game...ignore this one!, December 4, 2009
= Fun:1.0 out of 5 stars

I love casino games so when I saw this one was coming out I had to get it...big mistake. The graphics are bad, the music is horrible and the voices don't match up to the characters. The mini games are lame and the writing is so tiny, while playing roulette I could never tell where the ball landed. Don't waste your time with this one.

Horrible game, does not let you adjust bets or choose amount of hands to play. Just a bunch of mini games that gets very boring. Waste of money,

1.0 out of 5 stars Very Disappointing, October 9, 2010

Being a fan of all things Vegas, I thought I would love this game. Very disappointing. Games are not interesting. Writing is too small to read and therefor affects your play in a negative way. We have played a couple times, hoping it will grow on us...no luck. Don't waste your money on this one.

2.0 out of 5 stars I suggest you pass on this, December 14, 2011

Think of this as two games in one. This game is essentially a board game where you pick a character and compete against other characters on a casino strip. After picking a character you have a roll of the dice you land on a certain square and you play a game out of three that are offered to you at one of the many casinos. After your turn the other characters get their turn and you play against them in a game of their choosing and so on and so on ..You get the picture. It gets repetitive after awhile and some of the games can be abit difficult to understand at first..I honestly do not think this is the worst game graphically or otherwise, but will say that if you are looking for a game where you just want to play straight up Casino games..This isn't the game for you.

By far the worst interactive game ever. No control over how much time you play one game (3 rounds and you have to restart), roulette-"F" about 3 seconds to place bets. No choices in how much you bet. Texas Hold'em, you select your hand from a display of cards flipping back and forth in the center of screen. So you try to click on a couple good cards. But you have to do it so fast, you're not really sure what cards are in your hand, and when the flop comes, and time to bet, you can't see your own hand! This is for two player, and I haven't tried it single player. It's just not fun. You'd have more fun using this disc as a frisbee playing with your dog.

1.0 out of 5 stars Someone needs to invent a better casino game, March 22, 2011
= Fun:1.0 out of 5 stars

This game is pretty weak. It's set up sort of like a board game. Your ability to bet different amounts of money is really limited and the characters are just silly. What if all you want to do is sit and play some slots? Well you can in the free play area but you only get to play maybe 3 rounds then you have to start all over again. You are also only allowed to play one line at a time, this is absolutely nothing like the real casino slots. How about Texas Hold'em? Well don't blink because at lightning fast speed the dealer flashes cards that you can try to grab in order to create the best hand. Huh? And my personal favorite when I go to Reno, video poker. Problem with this game is you are playing against several other computer players instead of you against the machine. I always thought that's what Video Poker was all about. You versus the Machaine, not other players. At least that's how it's always been in every casino I've ever visited.

I must say, I am really disappointed that I wasted my time and money on this game. You know, the Bicycle Card Company came up with a pretty fun slots and card game CD for the PC a few years ago. Hopefully someday, they will create a version for the Wii. You can probably find the Bicyucle version pretty cheap and I can assure you, it will be tons more fun than Vegas Party. Don't waste your money or your time on this one.

I was looking for Vegas tables & slots only to find out it is a board game when playing against the computer is really confusing. When you get to go into the casinos and play a game, you only get to play it 3 times and you're out of the casino and back on the 'strip'. Too bad there isn't a way to preview these type of games before buying so a person who is looking for one type of action doesn't get burnt buying something that is the opposite of what they are looking for.
