I read every gardening book I can get my hands on, but I'm cheap, so this is the only one I have or ever will buy. In eight years of using amazon.com this is also the first review I've felt compelled to write. I cannot emphasize enough how thorough, accurate, and good-looking this guide is. Get it, you will not regret it.

I checked this book out from the library and it has everything that a beginner gardener would need to know. It includes information on all types of vegetable gardening from row gardening, to French-style, to container gardening, etc. It is full of lots of information--stuff that you wouldn't even think that you'd need to know! I'm really glad I came across this book.

This is the best gardening book I have ever read. And, I have read a ton of I have them. The Vegetable Encyclopedia section gives you all the info you need to grow super veggies. I recommend it for every vegetable gardener

This book has everything that anybody could ask for in a guide to vegetable gardening. I strongly recommend it.
