Veggie Tales Rock!!! The older ones (before the law suit) are better, with more moral lessons than the newer ones. We bought Veggies for my daughter when she was younger. She is now 17 and still loves them. In fact we are in the process of replacing our VHS tapes with DVDs. It seems every little kid loves these and even some big kids too. It's so nice to have something to let your kids watch and not have to worry about the content. Again, Veggies Rock!!

The two stories in this dvd involve the verse: "Love your neighbor as yourself". They are both entertaining and teach great values to kids. My 2 year old loves this video as well as The first Sing-along dvd. We have 2 others, but those are the favorites. As with all VeggieTales, some of the details are able to be understood by adults only-just because of personal experiences (like classical composers and such). To me, this makes it more fun to watch as I figure out how to help my child (as she grows) understand the nuances, as well. Highly recommend this to anyone wanting to teach the love your neighborlesson above to their kids.

Teaches the basics of loving one another in a funny and comical way. I love the fact that I don't have to worry when my kids are watching Veggie Tales and teaches some great morals to children too!!

When I was younger, this was the show to watch! Veggietales is one of the greatest shows around for kids and this DVD in specific is a nice one to add to the collection. The episodes always have a point or lesson to learn and this DVD includes lessons in a very fun way to learn them.

My son and I love this show it is very good and you can learn alot from them. my son and I both know the songs by heart.

I was really little when this show first started. And to be honest, I love this series alot more as a teenager than when I was younger. Yeah, weird, huh?
Anyways, to the review...

This episode is about loving your neighbor. It first starts out with a re-telling of the Good Samaritan story in a ryhmning fashion. Then you have Larry's 'silly songs' segment, this one is called "The Hairbrush Song"
Then you have the main feature, 'The Gourds Must Be Crazy'
It's a really good story about being a friend to those who are different because God made all of us special and different from each other.

The only disappointment I had is the DVD was too short!
It was rather enjoyable, but I wish I saw Junior on the USS Applepies alot longer than that. It would of been a pretty good space adventure. Junior is my favorite character out of all the vegetables ^_^
Still, I totally recommend this DVD! It's a good story and a good lesson!

This arrived (like all of the other Veggie Tale DVDs) in perfect condition, and my granddaughter is getting hours of enjoyment out of it.

This is a cute little show that reminds kids that they need to be kind to everyone. It also teaches that everyone can make a valuable contribution regardless of how different they may seem. Both lessons are sorely needed in today's world. The music, as always, is catchy and I often here the children singing it after the show is turned off.

Veggietales are entertaining for the whole family. We own nearly every one of them. Highly recommended.
