If you own the Magellan 3100 GPS, your power supply is the round, barrel shaped plug - not the mini USB plug pictured above. I purchased the Case Logic hard travel case with power cord, not realizing the plug end was the mini USB which is used for updating data only. Thank goodness another person on our business trip had the Droid.

DON'T TRUST THEM WHEN THEY TELL YOU IT FITS---I purchased this because they advertised it as the correct replacement for the original part that came with my unit. It actually fit, but it only had 1 plug end to plug into my magellan. The 3250 reures a double plug, the mini USB which this cable had, and the FM antenna plug end on the same cord for your reception (which this cable DID NOT have) oh well ----caveat emptor

I bought this charger to replace the original broken charger for my Magellan 3250. It fits in the cigarette lighter but does not charge the GPS. It's a piece of junk. No wonder it's so cheap. Buy the replacement direct from Magellan. What a waste.
