I have now gone through 3 of these. 1 Black one and 2 white ones.
The white ones branded "Veho" were garbage. Charging problems, connectivity issues, buttons sticking, etc.
The black one that I got works flawlessly and I would love to find another one for $50 again!
4 stars for the one that works, -1 star for the two that didn't.

I love the design of this product, its exactly what I was looking for...however.

When trying to actually use the controller, its absolutely useless. You can try to use the analog joystick to move, and see the wifi light up, indicating that its working. About 2 seconds later it stops. So trying to run in game using this controller is like this.. run for 2 seconds, stop and wait 10 seconds for controller to start working again, then run for 2 more seconds, stop and wait for controller again.

I've sent an email to the manufacturer, and no response. The disc included with the controller contains an image file. So if you want to use it, you have to download Microsoft Image Writer, burn the image on the disc to your own disc, and then from your own burned disc you can run the .exe to get the software that comes with the controller.

If this thing actually worked, I would give it 5+ stars, but seeing as how its absolutely useless for gaming, or much of anything else really, I would give it less than 1 star if I could.

My Setup:

Apple Mac Mini running Windows 7 64bit Bootcamp.
This is 85% HTPC, 10% IT Nerd, 5% gaming setup.
Couch is about 5-10 feet from computer.

Connection-wise, I can use my bluetooth keyboard/mouse, my xbox 360 gamepad and Logitech unified wireless trackball from my couch with no problem.

No dice with the Cideko. It's super choppy like you're hovering just at the edge of it's range. It'll work, then drop for a second or two.

Keyboard: Typing is normally fine, but letters are dropped at times. I could live with the reliability of the keyboard.

Mouse: It might be usable as a mouse if the connection was constant.
It's gyro... which means you have to tilt it at weird angles to get it to move. Maybe I could get used to the motions and sensitivity if it didn't cut out, but it does and you end up running out of tilt space to get across the screen. Kind of like if you had a mouse and had to keep on picking it up and moving it back to get across the screen.

Ironically I ended up using it as a mouse with Key2Joy again. It worked better using the buttons/sticks to control things. If it cut out, I wasn't stuck at an odd angle trying to get it to pick up again. I just had to continue holding the joystick and it would move again.
If windows took over and said Joy2Key wasn't a real driver, I could just start trying to tilt my controller to move the mouse. It was just fine for getting past an admin screen for a second.

As a controller... I don't know. There is an application to set up that would cover keymapping similar to Joy2Key... but I don't think it had profiles to map the controls to different keys for different applications/games.
