5.0 out of 5 stars It's all right, it's okay ..., October 17, 2002
This CD is pretty awesome. Leah's lyrics are poetic, poignant, and biting all at once. Such simple phrases as "Mary's little lambs are now raised by wolves" gives a deep, provoking feeling to the entire CD. Perhaps not recommended during periods of extreme depression, the CD is otherwise one of my favorites. Leah's voice is unparalleled in the world today, and her style is uniquely her own. I recommend this CD without hesitation!

5.0 out of 5 stars Veiled: An Inquery Into Life's Deeper Side, December 17, 2001
By A Customer
Leah Andreone is an Indie's-Folk Rock singer who looks at life through the eyes of a wanton pessimist. Her unique lyrical style and sometimes shocking views on life come together in an unusual but intriguing way. With infectious tracks ranging from the deep melancholy of "Problem Child" to the near-giddy elation her top twenty hit "It's Alright, It's Okay", "Veiled" offers the listener a full range of experiences and so much more. Buy it today!

4.0 out of 5 stars Anger in a Nice Package, December 5, 1999
By Alf Kremer (Denver CO) - See all my reviews
Since one must use words to describe music, think of Leah as halfway between Tori Amos and Jewel, but without the heavy spirituality. The music is well played and well produced, and Leah approaches each song with gusto. The two not-really-singles "It's Alright It's OK" and "You Make Me Remember" are both highlights, as are "Happy Birthday" and "Kiss Me Goodbye". Only "Problem Child" doesn't work for me. Great stuff from a great woman.
