This review is from: Veins and Thumbtacks (Paperback)
Sherman's play is very funny. I picked up a monologue for auditioning purposes, and perhaps would like to get involved in a staging of the whole shebang. It's terrific in the way it portrays plot though basic characters. Pretty much four characters through the whole thing: Jimmy, his granmother, his girlfriend, and a colleague from the grocery store. Terrific. 'Everytime I get a papercut something pink that taste like strawberry comes out instead of blood...' |
