The Velbon QB-4LC Quick Release Plate fits the Videomate-400, CX-430, CX-440, DF-10ML, DF-40, T-3500, and V5000 tripods, and features a 1/4"-20 camera screw with a video pin. A quick release plate can be kept attached to the camera's base and allows the user to quickly and easily attach or remove the camera from the tripod without having to waste time fumbling with the threaded mount.

A friend gave me a used Velbon DF 40 tripod he picked up for $1, but it had no platform. This quick release platform fits it perfectly! The rubber pads on the top keep my camera secure and stable. Great buy!
