Bought this after reading all the other product's horrible reviews. I have had it about three months in a hot tub application and it's been great. It was relativly easy to set up, the transmission distance for me is about 30' which had been too far for other products. My only two grips: I question the accuracy of the remote temperature reading, my spa indicates three degrees cooler so I am not sure which one is accurate; the directions were a bit vague about some of the features apperently built into the sensing device.
I nearly lost my hot tube to freezing here in WI due to a malfunctioning pump, this device is saving me quite a bit of angst; all I need to do is glance at the remote readout once a day to be sure the tub is operating properly. This weekend I had another spa malufunction but was able to catch it almost immediatly. I can't attest to the longevity of this product so I will wait and comment in several months.
