The new model Bunn is awsome. My entire family has owned Bunn products for atleast 20 years. This newest model
is the best yet. The carafe style is wonderful. I just wish the Bunn came in Red. Maybe in the future.

The Bunn is probable the best coffee maker out there. It is worth the money.......

Bunn is the best of the coffee makers, their secret is that their coffee makers keep the hot water at exactly 200 degrees all the time. That is the optimal temperature for making coffee. This was our third Bunn coffee maker in 12 years. We still have the first two, they still work great, we just keep upgrading to a more capable model. We bought the BTX-B a month ago, and love it. It was our first Bunn with the aluminum decanter that keeps the coffee warm instead of a hot plate. Previous models of this type did not pour very well, but Bunn has solve this problem. We love our BTX-B and Amazon has the best price that we have seen on this model. Kohls has it listed for $199, so $116 is a good deal. If you really love coffee, you got to get a Bunn.

This coffeemaker makes a great pot of coffee, but I cannot recommend it. It must stay plugged in 24/7 so the water is instantly hot for brewing, so it burns electricity nonstop. We have used permanent coffee filters for decades but have not been able to find one large enough for this, and Bunn doesn't appear to sell one, so we are back to regularly buying disposable filters and wasting paper (trees). You can use a smaller permanent filter, but coffee grounds overflow into your coffee.

This coffeemaker has doubled our coffee purchase since it drips water through immediately, much goes undripped.

The black arrow on the black pot is virtually invisible, and if you don't line that up properly the lid does not fit right, although it will appear to, and coffee drips everywhere.
