Velocity DVD+RW disc has large recording capacity of 4.7 GB of high resolution video recording, and is also ideal for application such as DVD content development and PC back-up. Its rewritability allows you to re-record over 1,000 times and still offers high great playback compatibility. It is important to note that DVD+RW discs are only write compatible with DVD+R/W drives and dual drives. Also, your drive may choose a lower speed for optimum recording result. After recording, DVD+RW discs can be read and played-back on most DVD-ROM drives and DVD players.

A pretty good deal, depending...,

First of all, I got these on Amazon for something like $4 after rebate, which arrived pretty promptly. Given that price, they've been a very good deal. I can't say anything about long-term reliability, but my burns with an NEC ND-3520 have all been fine, and they generally work all right. I wouldn't entrust anything important to them, but they're great for anything semi-temporary where you don't want to waste a DVD+/-R.

I bought this along with a pack of CDs and DVD+R because of the great deal I got. Realized that owning a portable HardDrive is far more convenient since what I was really looking for was HD space.
Ended up buying a 250GB External HD for $80 on thanksgiving. It works for me since its much faster than burning CDs and really satisfies my HD needs. If you are looking for portability in addition to space, I would recommend you try a portable HardDrive (costs arnd $160) and very sleek, lighweight. Also no power cord required with portable ones since they are laptop powered No issues with the DVDs though. They work perfect so far .. touch wood
