Velocity DVD+RW disc has large recording capacity of 4.7GB or 120 minutes of high resolution video recording, and is also ideal for application such as DVD content development and PC back-up. Its rewritability allows you to re-record over 1,000 times and still offers high great playback compatibility. Important Notice: DVD+RW discs are only write compatible with DVD+R/W drives and dual drives. Your drive may set or you may choose to set to lower speed for optimum recording result. After recording, DVD+RW discs can be read and playback on most DVD-ROM drives and DVD players in use today. Condition and age of drives or player may affect playback performance.

Bad Quality Media,

I purchased a 25 pack of these dvd+rw media and out of the first several discs, only a few would format properly and most were unable to read the files written to them.I returned the first spindle and amazon quickly sent a replacement. Unfortunately, the 2nd spindle was just as bad as the first. Out of the first several discs, 1 or 2 would format but would crash my computer when trying to read or write data to them. NERO lists the disc id is OPTODISC, which I have found from online research, are poor quality media. I cannot recommend this media, unless of course you like spending hours repairing your computer after trying to use these discs... in that case, they would be perfect. OR if you happen to have a miracle drive that will burn them without errors...good luck. My brand new Lite-On 1633s drive is one of the most compatible drives on the market today but it didn't have much luck with this media. Also, the discs that would write data seem to have burned at less than the listed 2.4x, for instance a 300mb video file took half an hour (that's thirty minutes) to burn and when the file burned, I couldn't get the disc out of the drive and had to shut down & restart my computer. I have both Sony and Lite-On dvd burners and only the Lite-On drive would even see the discs, the Sony would simply crash. Of course I have the latest software as well as latest firmware installed in both drives. I have used quality media such as Sony & Ridata with no problems at all. The upside is that amazon has been great with their customer service.

Doesn't work like a DVD+RW. You can't erase a DVD. Occassionally you may find one which can be erased. Pay more and go for some branded one.
