Velocity Micro has traded on their reputation for good tech support and customer service to vastly expand their corporation in a bid to become a mainstream player. Ironically, what has taken a hit in their big expansion is their tech support and customer service. Since the day I bought my computer, it has not worked right. Velocity Micro has not honored their warranty, they have not authorized the on-site service I paid for, and they have left the remedy for my woes to the component manufacturers, like Corsair and EVGA - who have been far more involved, responsive and responsible than Velocity Micro. I've eaten up hours upon hours of precious time doing troubleshooting tests that Velocity Micro techs recommended, only to provide them with results and then have a new tech suggest taking the same steps all over again. It's sad that we seem to live in an age of corporate crooks who preach "customer care," but who feel no ethical obligation to genuinely care for their customers. That's how I see Velocity Micro. There's nothing magical or remarkable about their products. Save yourself some grief - and some money - and make a better choice.
