Selena's 1990 album "Ven Conmigo" finally showed the wide versatility that she had: Pop, Tejano, Cumbia, Ballads, and Rock influences can all be found on on this album.Baila Esta Cumbia, one of her most remembered hits, a long with Ven Conmigo helped Selena go international by getting attention in Central and South America. Other memorable songs are: Yo Te Amo, No Quiero Saber, and Enamorada De Ti. And Aunque No Salga El Sol is one the best ballads that Selena ever did. This special edition release includes: introduction text not found in the original, all of the lyrics from the song, Bonus tracks with remixes of Enamorada De Ti and No Quiero Saber, plus Spoken Liner notes with her family and band with great info including why the cover is black and white, and what her brother felt seeing her perform Enamorada De Ti for the first time on stage. This is definatley worth picking up as is all of the 20 Years Of Music Collection! |
