This review is from: The Venerable Bede Commentary on the Acts of the Apostles (Cistercian Studies Series , No 117) (Paperback)
Venerable Bede was an early student of Acts, and his perspective is a precious one. He mentions the validity of certain traditions about its origins, speaks about what early Church Fathers (including Augustine and Jerome) thought about it, and provides meditations on its content. I am using it as a supplementary text in our Acts Bible Study, and we all find it delightful in its freshness and depth. Historically, it is also a wonderful touchstone for understanding later interpretations.
