This compilation of various artists is very good and features Venezuela's best harpist, El Indio Figueredo who plays vibrantly traditional themes, most of those here he wrote. Other players are well known in Venezuela. It is a very satisfying record for those who love this music and one could take someone much time before finding as many good tracks in a single record. A lot of traditional Venezuelan records are no longer in CDs, including most of El Indio Figueredo's. One should value finding some great extracts here.

A fabulous recording indeed. HOWEVER, the second track is miscatalogued, and instead of "Quitapesares" you'll hear a "gaita" (a good one, though, but it breaks the general theme of the CD), and I thought customers should know it if they want to buy this.
