It's a frightening thought that so many have bought into this form of perverted theology...it's a theology of hate rather than love. Dominionism/reconstructionism is a huge octopus, and Al Dager connects all the tentacles and even the minor suction cups of this behemoth. Al covers the subject thoroughly although I'd have liked to have him connect the dots in some of the neo-nazi tentacles of this theology. However, this is the best book on the Dominionist belief system and who all is involved with it. Buy it! It's a keeper for research!

On first seeing this book I thought from the cover and back blurb that it was defending Dominionism and related Christian theonomy fascism. Sadly I was not totally wrong. The author does a decent job of showing the various elements of Dominionism, Christian Reconstructionism, Coalition on Revival, shepherding and the like, but I disagree with other reviewers here that this is the best book on the subject. I believe it is okay, even considering the publication date, but to me it has a number of problems. While the author does mention the execution of those who violate Biblical law, such as people of non-Christian faiths, the author is hardly objective himself. There are anti Roman Catholic references, an expressed dislike of America's religious pluralusm and tolerance of other faiths ideal and in some passages I get the impression he almost totally agrees with the Christian fascism. The author has a evangelical /fundamentalist Protestant bias and the book is written with that audience in mind. As an American Pagan/Wiccan I am concerned about what such movements will do to people like me, and the author tells a little of the draconian plans of these "saints". He does not, however, explain to someone like me the scope, extent of this danger, or worse still, how "good" Christians are fighting against this horrible threat. Some passages I find offensive or strongly disagree with the author's assertions of belief. There are a few bits here and there worth reading, but overall the book is shallow on examining the subject, focused only on biblical teachings and totally ignores serious dangers to the society regarding "stealth" operatives in government, school boards and the like.Read more ›

I had been hearing and reading alot over the past few years that seemed to be contradicting what I had learned from Scripture . After reading this book certain things became very clear . This book is no lightweight fluff . Al Daeger has once again hit the nail on the head and tells it like it is . If truth is what you seek , truth is what he speaks .

This book explains and exposes Dominion Theology . The best book I have read on the subject .

The background research done by this author has provided valuable information. It helps the reader to understand the 'new dominion/seven mountain teaching' that is coming into many churches today. I recently left a church after this type of teaching became the sole focus of the leaders. It was so militant and freedom, peace and joy flew out the window. If you have experienced this, then this book will help you to understand what is happening, explain the source of the teachings and expose those who continue to promote it today. Albert Dager uses scripture to refute the 'new' teaching. His intent is not to judge, but rather, his heart is for error to be exposed and God's truth to be revealed.
