4.5 stars. There are too many great moments on this CD not to bump it up closer to 5 stars. The production is first rate and explosive, the musicianship is stellar and frequently breathtaking, and the overall ambtion of this recording is outstanding! There are a handful of moments over the course of the album which could use a little more streamlining, but the energetic performances and superb sound quality make up for quite a lot. I mentioned to a co-worker recently that if I saw Zandelle live and they played this album in total as a set each and every member would be dripping with persperation by the end. This album is loaded with speedy guitar shredding and solos that split fingertips to ribbons. Making these faster sections stand out even more are the fluid shifts in tempo that most Metal bands, regardless of genre, can only dream of executing. The riffs are tremendously catchy on top of being masterfully played, and the driving rhythm section pushes each song to the limits of endurance. They have a decent lead singer, as well. While not amazing throughout, his performance is frequently inspired as he pushes his own talent to match that of the musicians and more often than not succeeds admirably. But it is the astounding musicianship that is clearly and prominantly on display here. All guitar freaks take notice! Highly, highly recommended!!!

Vengence Rising is in True Heavy Metal form.

The lead guitarist(Anthony Maglio)shreds, with killer harmonies and amazing virtuosity. The vocals are pure with heart. The vocalist
(George Tsalikis) voice is in top form with a lower register than the previous album, however you can expect the searing high notes and occassional metal screams. The Bass and Drums are tight, pure adrenaline from start to finish!!! Sonically, this album sounds amazing. Pump this album on your speakers or headphones and you will hear a great mix, and all the dynamics and frquencies of all the vocals and instruments.

In summary...This album Rocks!!!!

Great album. The best by em thus far. Necromancer is Epic.

Keep Metal True!!!

I do not normally listen to metal albums but this has become one of my fav cds. I even put the songs in my 'gym' work out mix, my 'I have to go sit on the subway for 10 hours' mix and of course my 'I'm walking down the street don't mess with me' mix. It really in powers the listener. That's what I love about it. It gets into you. And ok I think those vocals are so sexy!

The best cd I`ve heard in a decade!Just pure pounding rip your heart out Metal!!!I can`t wait to see them in Manhatten next month.

What can I say about Zandelle's fourth release(the second under LMP)? I say I love it! But, come to think of it, why wouldn't I? It's everything I love about Metal. Fast riffs, singing guitar harmonies and melodic solos. The fact that I am one of the artists doesn't hurt either!! This is definitely our best release to date, and marks a new high for the band. My personal favorite tracks are The Beowulf Trilogy and Necromancer, and I believe they represent the future direction of Zandelle. My only regret is we lost a track(for a potential Japanese release), but it will hopefully show up as a bonus track on a future release. For all current news, hit us up at myspace/zandelle or [...]. This album is really good. I found out about this band when Dragon's Hoard came up on my Pandora. I bought both their albums shortly after and have not been disappointed. This is a great power metal band and I've listened to every power metal band out there. If you are considering buying this album, listen to Dragon's Hoard and Necromancer (my favorite) and you will have no doubts about the quality of this album.

Uh, yeah, this album rock pretty hard....this stuff is as good as any power metal band from Europe! These guys are WAY underrated. Necromancer is amazing, but the whole album rocks. So, listen to it. Oh yeah! and the cover's great..look at the band's artist(on the left) cheering on an epic viking while he rocks a monster's world...with his fist.

These guys rock! They really should be playing in big arenas rather than clubs. The melody, drumwork, and riffs on Blood Red Shores and Final Hour are amongst the best in the power metal realm. George's vocals are really excellent too! They give 200% every live show. If you are a power metal fan and live in the NYC area, see them and I am sure you will agree. Also, please vote for them to play at BB King's. Can't wait till Flames of Rage comes out!

I came apon this CD by accident in 2007 and bought it. After listening to it I shortly thereafter bought Twilight of Humanity.
I recently saw Zandelle live and they live up to their CD.
Being a fan of Hammerfall, Gamma Ray and Firewind I feel these guys are on their way. When a major label picks them up they are gonna be off and running, I cant wait for their new release in 2009.
