This review is from: Venoy: Bliss Out 5 (Audio CD)
Fuxa is the work of Michigan space rockers Randall Nieman and Ryan Anderson, although as of late I believe Anderson has departed from the group and Nieman is at the soley at the controls. At any rate this is a first class ambient/experimental/bliss space rock masterpiece. There is somethig very organic about the fuxa sound; it ebbs and flows, rises and departs like a living thing. The sounds created by the group are beautiful, sometimes they drone with moog laden passages, other times a simple acoustic guitar can be heard gently strumming a peaceful tune, folky in a sense, purely melodic. This is swirling, late night music, or music for a massive sunset just touching down on the Western horizon. Listen to this and believe that amidst all the troubles in the world, this record will surely put some calm back in your mind.
